This Editorial Policy explains how NSP Scholarship (nspscholarship.in) researches, writes, checks and updates its content. We are an independent information website and are not affiliated with the Government of India or the National Scholarship Portal.
Our sources
We rely on primary sources first. In order of priority, we use:
- The official National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in) and its notices.
- Ministry and department notifications, scheme guidelines and official PDFs.
- Official state scholarship portals and government press releases.
- Websites of private scholarship providers, for non-government scholarships.
We do not copy content from other websites. Where a fact cannot be confirmed from an official source, we say so or leave it out.
How we write
- Plain language: short sentences and step-by-step instructions.
- Every guide names the scheme, the official portal and the exact documents required.
- We explain what the information means for the student, not only what the rule says.
Fact-checking and updates
Before publishing, we check dates, amounts, eligibility limits and links against the official source. Scholarship rules change every year, so we review our guides when a new cycle opens, when a deadline is extended, and when an official notice changes a rule. Updated guides show the date of the latest review.
Corrections
We fix errors as soon as we confirm them. If you spot a mistake, email nidhiwebmaster1990@gmail.com with the page link and the correct information, ideally with an official source. We will review it and update the page.
Advertising and affiliate links
Some pages may show ads or affiliate links, for example in comparison articles. These never change what we write about a scholarship. We do not accept payment to change, hide or promote scholarship information, and we label affiliate links where they appear.

Our free tools give estimates only. The official scholarship portal and the scheme guidelines always decide eligibility, amounts and status.
